Study shows growing dissatisfaction among condo buyers

Because of the current situation where the recession has hit the real estate economy really hard, condominium builders have experienced slumps in terms of their sales. To make it worse, a survey revealed that there’s an increasing dissatisfaction rate among buyers, especially in Toronto.

This survey showed that out of five condominium unit owners, two of them are really disappointed and would have chosen a different builder if they will be given a chance. Experts said that these results are because of several issues including delays in occupying the home, poor communication, and superficial misrepresentations. The limited or lack of information which the builders have detailed to the buyers made them think of unlikely expectations that eventually resulted to dissatisfaction.

This year, the satisfaction rate for condominium builders has dropped to 612 as opposed to 622 back in 2008. Aside from the information that builders share with the buyers, they should also consider other factors including the quality, features, service, building readiness, and design, to be able to satisfy them.
