Texas Fraudster Admits to Falsifying Documents

Another fraudster has pleaded guilty after being indicted on May 6, 2009 for falsifying documents and conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection to a mortgage fraud scheme. This mortgage fraudster is identified as Tahmeane Elrod from Tyler, Texas.

The information shown in the court revealed that Tahmeane Elrod executed a mortgage fraud scheme last September 2007. This scheme involved defrauding of several mortgage and lending companies in which Elrod submitted fraudulent loan applications that contained false information to enable him to qualify for the loan which he intended to use for purchasing a residential property. Tahmeane Elrod inflated his income and even forged signatures in his employment verification form which are part of the loan application.

Because of Tahmeane Elrod’s misconduct, he is expected to be sentenced up to five years imprisonment. Elrod’s sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
