A Swimming pool is one of the most common features in any real estate development whether indoor or outdoor, commercial or residential. There is one swimming pool which can get the attention of any real estate developer and that is the world’s largest swimming pool in Southern Chile’s San Alfonso del Mar resort. The outdoor pool, which is actually a man-made salt water lagoon, is a Guinness Book of Word Record holder for being the world’s largest measuring 1,013 meter and covering eight hectares total. It is being operated by a computer-controlled filtration and suction system that keeps the permanent circulation of fresh seawater in the pool.

Dubai continues to stand as the most in demand real estate markets today despite the global economic crunch. This is evident with the commencement of work for the luxury residential development Porto Dubai.  The Zabeel Properties project which sits on a reclaimed peninsula is located beside the Burj Al Arab luxury hotel. Zabeel Investments executive chairman Mohammed Ali Al Hashimi said Boskalis Westminster has already started dredging and reclamation and the construction of the villa will start by end of the year to be completed by 2010. Dubai World real estate subsidiary Nakeel is providing reclamation and coastal development assistance.

There was a time when Neverland used to be known as the amusement park hideaway owned by king of pop Michael Jackson. It was the perfect place for entertainment not only for kids but for the young at heart with facilities like tennis courts, zoo, train and an amusement park. Neverland is from these descriptions today having lost its opulence and its purpose as an amusement park because there is really nothing there not to amuse. Instead, Neverland is now a picture of disgrace, neglect and disrepair with the teepees torn down, ripped tent, rusting merry-go-round and broken windows.
